The tragic events of September 11th, 2001 completely changed my life. It led to my decision to become a Marine Corps Officer after graduating from Sacred Heart University. Unfortunately, very early into my career, I sustained a significant spine injury that resulted from a fall while coming down a rope during a training exercise. Despite my injury, I remained on active duty and my military career began to take off. In less than two years, I was invited to work at Headquarters Marine Corps at the Pentagon. It was an amazing learning experience in leadership and team building. Many of the lessons that I learned in the Marines are applied in everything that I teach. This position also led to the most difficult challenge and most beneficial learning experiences of my life. One of my responsibilities at the Pentagon was as a writer. I composed condolence letters on behalf of the entire Marine Corps. I began to suppress my emotions to accomplish my mission. I was medically retired from the Marines due to my injuries. I soon moved back home with debilitating physical pain and horrifying emotional trauma from survivor’s remorse. I sank further into depression until finally making the conscious decision to change my life. I recommitted myself to my physical health. Through this process, I realized how physical health impacts mental health and emotional well-being. Since then, I have dedicated my life to teaching others how they can become the happiest, healthiest and strongest versions of themselves; physically, mentally and emotionally.

Regardless of your current position in life, the challenges that we face are the same. Whether you’re an athlete, CEO, student or parent; we all want two main things: happiness and success. How we choose to define these terms is unique, but the ways to achieve them are universal. It’s a matter of finding the right balance. However, the current societal model has created a culture where stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicide are all on the rise. Our lifestyles are killing us. This led to my decision to help others turn their lives around, by using the same techniques that I used to save myself from the brink.

For the past several years, I have been studying various fields including; psychology, sociology, anthropology, evolution, psychiatry, neuroscience, anatomy and physiology. I’ve combined these fields into easy to understand workshops, presentations and personal coaching. These events cover a broad overview of how to essentially “hack” your own mind to achieve your goals: happiness and success. Events are also specifically adapted to your personal, corporate or team needs.
